This exceptionally beautiful film was made by Melissa Palen, a photographer and member of The Northshore Tribe Facebook group using an iPhone 7 over Christmas ~ New Year 2017. She says “I just used an iPhone 7 to shoot a video clip. Early afternoon, Winter diffused light, so less UV rays. That’s it. No filters or fancy stuff. I am a photographer, but, this was just the right lighting/time of day and an iPhone.”
The Gunflint Trail is one of Minnesota’s top scenic drives. It starts in Grand Marais, MN and winds its way deep into Superior National Forest. Palen lives in Silver Bay, MN
